ASO Agent

The ASO Agent optimizes your App Store and Google Play listings to improve organic visibility, conversion rates, and downloads. It audits your metadata, generates optimized text, and can push approved changes directly to the stores.


What it does

Metadata analysis

  • Checks if your primary keyword appears in your title and subtitle
  • Evaluates long-tail keyword coverage (goal: 30+ keywords)
  • Analyzes description keyword density, readability, and structure
  • Reviews promotional text and seasonal copy

Visual asset evaluation

  • Screenshot count and messaging (goal: 5–8 screenshots)
  • App preview video optimization
  • Icon clarity and category fit
  • Screenshot localization — uses Gemini AI image editing to generate localized versions of your screenshots for each target market, translating text overlays while preserving the original design

Per-locale analysis

  • Each locale gets its own AI-powered analysis with market-specific context
  • Recommendations account for local search behavior, cultural preferences, and competitive landscape
  • Supports all App Store and Google Play locales

Performance tracking

  • Star rating and review velocity
  • Rating distribution analysis
  • Localization coverage — identifies markets where you could add localized listings

Keyword research and rank tracking

  • Automatic keyword discovery based on your category and competitors

Write capabilities

The ASO Agent can push approved changes directly to the stores:

  • iOS — updates promotional text directly (no new app version required)
  • Android — updates descriptions directly

For other metadata changes on iOS (title, subtitle), a new app version is required — the agent generates the optimized text, and you apply it during your next submission.


Experiments

The Experiments tab gives you a dedicated view for tracking all your ASO experiments. Each experiment records the metadata change you made, when it started, and the impact on your key metrics.

  • Status filtering — filter experiments by Active, Completed, or Reverted to focus on what matters
  • Impact summaries — see how each experiment affected impressions, conversion rate, and downloads
  • Revert tracking — if an experiment underperformed, mark it as reverted and the agent records the rollback

Use experiments to build an evidence-based optimization loop — run a change, measure the impact, and decide whether to keep it or revert.


Custom context

In ASO settings, you can provide custom context to guide the agent's recommendations. This is useful when your app has domain-specific terms, brand names, or keywords with meanings that differ from their everyday usage.

For example, if your app uses a branded feature name, adding it as custom context ensures the agent treats it as an intentional keyword rather than suggesting a more generic alternative.

Custom context is applied across all AI-generated metadata — titles, subtitles, descriptions, and keyword suggestions.


Workflow

  1. Audit — the agent analyzes your current listing and scores each element
  2. Generate variants — AI creates optimized text for titles, subtitles, descriptions, and promotional text
  3. Review & approve — you review the proposed changes and approve or edit them
  4. Push to store — the agent pushes approved changes directly to the store

You always have final say over what goes live.


How to use it

  1. Navigate to ASO Agent in the sidebar
  2. Select your app
  3. Run an audit to see your current score and recommendations
  4. Review the generated text variants
  5. Approve changes to push them to the store
  6. Re-run the audit in 30 days to measure improvement

Visual snapshot timeline

Every time the ASO Agent runs, it captures a visual snapshot of your store listing — screenshots, icon, and metadata. These snapshots are saved as a timeline so you can:

  • See exactly what your listing looked like at any point in time
  • Compare before and after any metadata change
  • Track how your listing has evolved over months

App Store preview

The ASO Agent includes an interactive preview that shows how your listing will appear on the App Store or Google Play. Preview your metadata changes before pushing them live — see your title, subtitle, description, and screenshots rendered exactly as users would see them.


Localization health dashboard

A single view of your localization coverage across all markets:

  • Which locales have translated metadata vs. falling back to the default
  • Localization completeness score per locale (metadata, screenshots, keywords)
  • Prioritized list of markets worth localizing next, ranked by potential organic lift
  • One-click audit for any specific locale
