Review Agent

The Review Agent reads every new App Store and Google Play review, drafts a personalized reply using AI, and either queues it for your approval or posts it automatically — depending on your mode setting.

Modes

ModeWhat happens
InactiveNo drafts generated. Reviews are still synced and visible.
ManualAI generates a draft reply for every new review. You review and approve each one before it's sent.
Full AgenticAI generates a draft and posts the reply automatically. No human approval step.

You set the mode per app (not globally). This lets you run full agentic on some apps and manual on others.

What "full agentic" means

In full agentic mode:

  1. A new review arrives via sync.
  2. The AI generates a reply based on your configured tone, team name, and any custom instructions.
  3. Fload logs into App Store Connect (iOS) or Play Console (Android) via an automated browser session and posts the reply.
  4. The reply appears on the store immediately.
  5. A usage credit is consumed (100 included/month on Pro, 10 on Startup).

There is no queue, no approval screen. The reply goes live.

Configuration

Before enabling the Review Agent, complete onboarding for each app. Navigate to Reviews → [your app] → Settings.

How replies are generated

The AI reads the review's:

  • Star rating
  • Title and body
  • Country (storefront)
  • App version

It cross-references your configured settings (tone, team name, support email) and any custom instructions. It also learns from your past replies — if you consistently edit drafts in a particular way, the agent picks up on that pattern over time (via the learned rules system).

Learned rules

When you edit or reject AI-generated drafts, Fload observes the pattern and updates its reply style for your app. Over time, the agent adapts to sound like you, not like a generic AI.

iOS vs. Android

Review Agent supports both platforms, but setup is separate:

iOS (App Store Connect)

  • Requires the Customer Support role on your App Store Connect connector.
  • Replies are posted via automated App Store Connect browser sessions.

Android (Google Play)

  • Requires the Google Play connector to be set up.
  • Replies are posted via the Play Console.

You can enable or disable the agent per platform within the same app.

Manual mode workflow

  1. A new review arrives.
  2. Fload generates a draft reply.
  3. You see it in the Reviews page under the relevant review.
  4. Click Approve to post it or Edit to revise before sending.
  5. Click Dismiss to discard the draft without replying.

Drafts queue up automatically. You can process them in bulk or one at a time.

Pros/cons analysis

Separate from reply drafting, the Review Agent can analyze a batch of your reviews and produce a structured summary:

  • Overall sentiment
  • Top things users love (with frequency)
  • Top complaints (with frequency)

This is triggered manually or via AI chat. Analyses are saved so you can track sentiment changes over time.

Limitations

  • Review Agent only works for apps with an active App Store Connect or Google Play connector.
  • Apple only allows one reply per review, and replies cannot be deleted once posted. In full agentic mode, there is no undo.
  • Google Play allows editing replies after posting.
  • Reviews in languages Fload's AI doesn't support well may produce lower-quality drafts.
