FAQ
Getting started
How long does the initial sync take?
Typically 15–30 minutes after connecting a data source. Note that App Store Connect and Google Play have built-in reporting delays (1–3 days) from Apple and Google — so the most recent data may not include today's numbers.
My data looks old. Is there a lag?
Yes — this is Apple and Google's reporting delay, not Fload's. Apple's daily reports are typically available by 8 AM Pacific the following day. Google Play financial reports arrive 2–3 days after the period ends. Ad platform data syncs within hours.
I connected my account but see no metrics. What's wrong?
A few things to check:
- Invitation accepted? For App Store Connect, make sure the invitation email was accepted.
- Correct roles? You need Finance + Customer Support roles (App Store Connect) or View financial data (Google Play).
- New account? If your developer account has no sales history, there's nothing to sync yet.
- Health check — go to Connectors, find your connector, and check its health status for any specific error.
Can I connect multiple App Store Connect accounts?
Yes. Create one connector per Apple developer account.
Plans & pricing
How much does Fload cost?
$50/month flat rate with a 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime. No per-app fees — unlimited apps included. See Pricing.
Can I use Fload without paying?
Yes. All your data, dashboards, metrics, reviews, keyword rankings, and monitoring alerts are free to view. You only need Pro for AI-powered actions like generating replies, running analyses, or pushing optimized metadata.
What happens after the free trial?
You keep full access to all your data and dashboards. AI actions are paused until you subscribe. Chat with Fin reverts to 3 free messages per day.
What AI actions require Pro?
Anything where the AI generates, analyzes, or executes on your behalf — draft review replies, growth audits, ASO optimization, ad analysis, Orchestrator cycles, product testing, and submission reviews. Viewing the results of past AI actions is always free.
Review Agent
Will it reply to every review?
In full agentic mode, yes — it generates and posts a reply to every new review without an existing response. In manual mode, it generates drafts for every review but you choose which to send.
Can I customize the reply tone?
Yes. Choose Professional, Friendly, or Casual in settings. You can also add custom instructions like "always offer the support email for 1-star reviews" or "never promise release dates."
What if the AI posts a bad reply?
On iOS, replies can only be edited (not deleted) in App Store Connect. On Google Play, replies can be edited or deleted. Start in manual mode to review drafts before trusting full agentic.
Does it learn from my corrections?
Yes. When you edit drafts before sending or reject and rewrite them, the AI observes the pattern and adjusts future replies.
Product Testing
Can I test a competitor's app?
Yes. Just provide their App Store URL. This is one of the most popular use cases.
Does it work with TestFlight builds?
No. The app must be live on the public App Store.
What if my app requires a phone number to sign up?
The agent handles standard onboarding flows. Apps requiring real phone verification or hardware pairing may produce partial results.
Chat & Analytics
What timezone do metrics use?
App Store Connect and Google Play report in Pacific Time. Fload converts to your organization's configured timezone.
Can I compare two apps?
Yes, through Chat: "Compare revenue for [App A] and [App B] over the last 3 months."
How far back does data go?
Fload imports all available historical data from your connected accounts. More history means better forecasting and anomaly detection.
Privacy & security
How are my credentials stored?
All credentials (API keys, OAuth tokens) are encrypted at rest. Keys are never stored in plaintext.
Does Fload have access to my App Store account?
Yes — Fload uses a managed account added as a team member with Finance and Customer Support roles. These roles don't include permissions to upload builds, modify app metadata, or submit to review.
Who can see my data?
Only members of your organization. Fload employees have access to internal admin tools for support purposes but don't routinely access customer data.
