FAQ

Common questions from mobile app founders using Fload.

Getting started

How long does the initial sync take?

Typically 15–60 minutes for the first sync after connecting a data source. App Store Connect and Google Play reports can have up to 48–72 hours of inherent delay from Apple and Google — so even after the sync completes, the most recent data may not be today's data.

My data looks old. Is there a lag?

Yes — this is Apple and Google's reporting delay, not Fload's. Apple's daily sales reports are typically available by 8 AM Pacific the following day. Google Play financial reports are available 2–3 days after the period ends.

Ad platform data (Apple Search Ads, Meta, Google, TikTok) syncs via API and is usually available within hours.

I connected my account but see no metrics. What's wrong?

A few things to check:

  1. Invite accepted? For App Store Connect, make sure the invitation email was accepted. Fload can't pull data until the invitation goes through.
  2. Correct roles? Make sure you granted Finance + Customer Support roles (App Store Connect) or View financial data (Google Play).
  3. New account? If your developer account has no sales history, reports may be empty. There's nothing to sync yet.
  4. Try a health check. Go to Connectors, find your connector, and check its health status for any specific error.

Can I connect multiple App Store Connect accounts?

Yes. Each Apple developer account requires its own connector. Create one connector per developer account.

Can I connect the same App Store account to multiple Fload organizations?

No. Each Apple invitation email can only be associated with one Fload organization. If you're moving between organizations, disconnect the old connector first.

Plans & access

What plans are available?

Fload offers a Pro plan at $29.99/mo and a Portfolio plan with custom pricing for larger teams. All plans include full analytics, AI agents, and onboarding support. Book a demo to learn more.

What is the "Startup tier"?

Startup is the automatic tier for apps making revenue between $0.01 and $4,999/month (as measured by Fload's revenue data). You get full access to all Fload features with soft limits (e.g., 10 Review Agent replies/month). No subscription required.

When should I subscribe (Pro)?

Subscribe when:

  • Your app makes $5,000+/month MRR (at that point Fload detects "Exceeded" tier and prompts you)
  • You need more than 10 Review Agent reply drafts/month
  • You want unlimited Product Agent runs
  • You want to support Fload's development

How is my MRR calculated for tier detection?

Fload estimates your MRR from the revenue data it syncs — App Store Connect proceeds, Google Play revenue, and/or Stripe subscriptions. It uses trailing 30-day revenue ÷ 1 month as the estimate. If you have no connected revenue sources, Fload treats you as $0 MRR.

Review Agent

Will the Review Agent reply to every review?

In full agentic mode, yes — it will generate and post a reply to every new review that doesn't already have a developer response.

In manual mode, it generates drafts for every review, but you choose which ones to send.

Can I customize the tone of replies?

Yes. In Review Agent settings, you can choose:

  • Professional — formal and measured
  • Friendly — warm and approachable
  • Casual — relaxed, conversational

You can also add custom instructions for the AI, such as "always offer the support email for 1-star reviews" or "never promise specific release dates."

What happens if the AI posts a bad reply?

On App Store Connect (iOS), replies cannot be deleted once posted — only edited. If the Review Agent posts something you don't want, you'll need to log into App Store Connect and manually edit or correct the reply.

On Google Play, replies can be edited or deleted.

This is why we recommend starting in manual mode to review drafts before trusting full agentic mode.

Does the Review Agent learn from my corrections?

Yes. When you edit AI-generated drafts before sending, or reject drafts and write your own, the system observes the pattern and adjusts future replies accordingly.

Product Agent

Can I run the Product Agent on a competitor's app?

Yes. You just need their App Store URL. The agent installs the app on a real device regardless of who owns it.

My app requires a phone number to sign up. Will the Product Agent handle that?

The Product Agent handles standard onboarding flows. If your app requires a real phone number for verification, the agent may not be able to complete the flow. For complex onboarding (hardware pairing, real-time verification), the agent may produce partial results.

Can I run the Product Agent on an Android app?

Not currently. The Product Agent supports iOS/App Store only.

Analytics & AI Chat

What time zone do metrics use?

App Store Connect reports are in Pacific Time (Apple's reporting timezone). Google Play uses Pacific Time as well. The Fload dashboard converts to your organization's configured timezone.

Can I compare two apps side-by-side?

Yes, through the AI chat. Ask: "Compare revenue for [App A] and [App B] over the last 3 months." The AI can pull data for multiple assets in a single conversation.

How far back does historical data go?

Fload imports all available historical data from your connected accounts. App Store Connect typically has data going back to when you first started publishing. The depth of historical data affects forecasting quality.

Why does my anomaly detection seem off?

Anomaly detection requires at least 30 days of historical data to establish a baseline. Apps with fewer than 30 days of data will have no anomalies detected. Very erratic data (high day-to-day variance) may generate more false positives.

Can I export my data?

The AI chat can generate CSV-like data tables. Full data export is not currently a built-in feature — contact support if you need bulk data access.

Privacy & security

How does Fload store my credentials?

All credentials (API keys, OAuth tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with per-credential salts. Keys are never stored in plaintext.

Does Fload have access to my App Store account?

Yes — that's how the invitation-based setup works. Fload uses a managed Apple account added as a team member to your developer account. This account has Finance and Customer Support roles at most.

Can Fload publish or modify my apps?

No. The roles granted during setup (Finance, Customer Support) do not include permissions to upload builds, modify app metadata, or submit to review. App Manager or Admin roles are not required or requested.

Who can see my data in Fload?

Only members of your organization can access your data. Fload employees can access internal admin tools for support purposes, but do not routinely access customer data.
