Amplitude

Connect Amplitude to sync event data, user properties, and engagement metrics into Fload.

What it syncs

DataDescription
EventsUser events with properties and timestamps
User propertiesProfile attributes and segments
Engagement metricsDAU, WAU, MAU, session counts, session duration
Event classificationsCategorized events (activation, retention, revenue)

Setup

  1. In Fload, go to Connectors > Add connector > Amplitude
  2. In your Amplitude Dashboard, go to Settings > Projects > [Your Project]
  3. Copy your API Key and Secret Key
  4. Select your project's data regionUS (default) or EU. If your Amplitude project is on the EU data residency plan, you must pick EU; the US host will reject EU keys.
  5. Paste both keys into Fload and click Connect

Sampled projects and per-platform accounts

Amplitude projects that use sampling or are configured per-platform (separate iOS / Android projects) are supported. Fload's connection test falls back automatically when the taxonomy endpoint is restricted on these plans.

Event discovery and classification

After connecting, Fload automatically:

  1. Discovers your events — scans your Amplitude project for all tracked events
  2. Classifies events — categorizes events by type (activation, engagement, retention, conversion)
  3. Maps to Fload metrics — integrates Amplitude engagement data with your app store and revenue metrics

This gives your AI agents richer context about user behavior when generating insights and recommendations.

What features this enables

  • Engagement metrics in your asset dashboard
  • AI chat — "what's my DAU?" "which events have the highest drop-off?"
  • Growth Audit Agent uses Amplitude data for engagement scoring
  • Anomaly detection on engagement metrics
  • Orchestrator Agent correlates engagement changes with revenue and retention trends

Notes

  • Data is synced every hour
  • Historical data is backfilled for the last 90 days on initial connection
  • Fload reads event data only — it does not write to your Amplitude project
  • EU and US projects are kept in separate hosts — switching regions requires reconnecting
